Not So Fast....
I know you might've been reading all over the interweb that there is a 24 prequel in the works for the fall. Not so fast, fools! The Hollywood Reporter ran the story too early and the deal is not 100% official. It may not even happen. So don't believe everything you read, eh?
If it does do indeed happen to be official, we'll let you guys know as soon as we do.

Seems like this quote from Howard Gordon makes it official:
"......word from 24 executive producer Howard Gordon about how this new TV movie will fit into the show’s mythology.
“This will be a standalone movie that takes place almost a year after the sixth season ended, and will set up the story that launches the seventh season,” Gordon tells iF. “It will be entirely new material.”

I think you can finally remove the damper you threw on the Prequel Celebration Party. It's 100% Fox official now *rolls eyes* it'll air on November 23, 2008 - YAY!!
