As picketing began at 30 Rock this morning (the building, not the show), Hollywood writers are officially on strike. According to the LA Times handy little grid, 24 has roughly nine of twenty four episodes for the season completed. The show is filming the first (of many? we'll see...) location shoot in Washington DC at the end of October. Looks like The Kief will be shooting on Friday 10/26 and Saturday 10/27. Don't know when the rest of the cast will be on location, but it seems they are there for at least a whole week. Come October time, don't forget to send in your spottings!

Fox is announcing some major cast additions (and returns!!) tomorrow. They will also be announcing that the show will shoot on location in Washington DC, as well as the fact that the season will run through June.For the "return," they are going to be explaining via the press how and why this person is coming back.
